Korea Should Take Advantage Of Nigeria Automotive Policy – Ekweremadu

The Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu has called on the Republic of Korea delegation of the Nigeria- Korean parliamentary friendship group that Korea can take advantage of Nigeria’s Automotive Policy and assemble cars in Nigeria.
He made this call when the Korean delegation led by Shin Hak Yong paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the National Assembly.
Ekweremadu also called on the Parliament of the Republic of Korea to mobilise greater support of the Korean Government and people towards the actualisation of Nigeria’s Vision 2020.
The programme was put together by the National Institute of legislative studies( NILS)  to deepen the relationship between parliamentarians of both countries
The Federal executive council recently approved measures to transform the automotive sector and ultimately out Nigeria among the league of auto- producing countries
According to Ekweremadu, Nigeria is discouraging the importation of cars into the country hence the need for Korea to take advantage if the new policy by the government to invest in Nigeria
